Osteopathy, simply put, is the belief in the body’s capability to heal itself. Through the integration of mental, physical, and emotional embodiment, the body’s structure is relative to the way it functions. The body is meant to be moved freely, with the awareness of how it moves, and to be without restrictions. Intentional movement should be optimized in order for oneself to truly heal and to sincerely feel. Osteopathy will be able to help an individual create space, awareness, and movement behaviour through joint and soft tissue manipulation to reduce pain and optimize the whole body.Your Consultation includes manual therapy and a detailed assessment and discussion of your body’s movement, you will then work together with your Osteo to develop an appropriate treatment plan that will lead to optimizing the structure and function of your body.Your osteopath will need to examine the area(s) of your body causing discomfort. Sometimes the cause of the problem may be in a different area to the pain, (For example, pain in your lower arm may be linked to the nerves in your neck) so they may need to examine your whole body. They will need to feel for any tightness in the muscles and stiffness in the joints and may need to touch these areas to identify problems. HITT The Park is unlike anything you've ever experienced. Outdoor fitness at Dickson Park in Cambridge, rugged, raw in the elements training with a twist! At HIIT The Park we will be incorporating tractor tires, sledgehammers, ropes, TRX suspension trainers, ladders. hurdles, resistance bands, hills, bleachers, bodyweight training and much more! This is a very different session compared to what you may be used to at the studio. We will be doing fun engaging team challenges and games that are sure to get the heart rate up! The purpose of this session is to burn maximum amount of calories. This is certainly one of our most difficult sessions on a weekly basis. Be sure to sweat, laugh and leave feeling great!
